Hi Bryna & Heidi!

This blog is a super idea. A great way to share photos and stories about our favorite pariah friends. :-)

We love to walk our dogs on the 3 mile long all concrete Virginia Beach boardwalk. Besides the beautiful beach sites, we thrill to the ongoing airial displays of locally based navel fighter jets. Additionally, since we are the home of the eastern naval fleet, we are occasionally treated to the sight of large warships including aircraft carriers and submarines which gracefull glide by the Virginia Beach oceanfront.
As for the dogs, the boadwalk is a perfect place for socialization and exercise. The dogs also love the many smells emanating from the beautiful garden like displays lining the full length of the boardwalk. There is always a place to stop and sit and take in the full view of the surrounding ocean along with the fisherman, surfers and sundry entertainers who find their way to the beach.
There are lots of places where food of all sorts is available and the tall beatifull hotels offer a degree of shade from the strong afternoon sun. It is particularly nice on a mild and sunny winter's afternoon, long after the tourists have left, to casually lead our Canaan Dogs from Cape Henry in the north down the broad expanse to Rudee Inlett at the southern end. During that time strollers never fail to comment on the beauty and uniquiness of our dogs.
